Goo Balls

Hare Bol!
Dear Das!
Goo Balls, simple ingredients include:
* Nut Butters
(cashew and sesame tahini
- or mix other favorites,
peanut or almond)
* Dry Quick Oats
* Crisp rice dry cereals
* Sweetener such as Agave (or honey)
* Coconut Oil
Other ingredients -
dried fruit (raisins),
herbs/spices (cardamom),
nuts, cocao/chocolate, et cetera.
Das - in the past I have never made up an actual recipe,
because I just follow my intuition,
and I learned to make these by just using
estimation by process and texture,
from a fellow devotee.
Maybe you know a recipe for the goo balls already, too!
Same with the oil process. I have only used my intuition when creating it. And, I have only made vegan goo balls (vegan).
I am sure to cook the coconut oil with the spice of choice for a very long time!
~ You can use leaves
and broken pieces of leaves....
~ Grind the leaves
in grinder or blender first.
~ Combine with oil in saucepan
and stir constantly,
on the slightest of heats.
~ Cook it until the herb is crispy,
and still cook it longer.
~ Cook as long as possible
- stirring - cook for 1 - 2 hours.
~ Remove, cool, strain, and
strain through cheese cloth until clean.
Make sure that the smell of the oil is pleasant the entire cooking time!
I know you can use another oil or butter,
and I will look into other processes, too.
I want to get you an actual recipe of
quantities of ingredients, if possible.
Because I have only used the spirit of the moment
to create my goo balls before.
Then you roll the ingredients (I would make HUGE batches of it), into gooey balls. The Oats and Dry Cereal would take in the moisture. I have only used guestimation process.
It would be fun if we could do this together, because I am really good with intuitive cooking.
And, because I want to make these very soon.... The only thing is, you mentioned that you want to use ghee, and I would like to use coconut oil instead. Let's talk the beginning of this next week, Love.
Jai Radhe!
Love Radharani dasi
PS: A nother note for the cook
Basically, with the oil and spices
for instance, medical marijuana,
- cook like a Cajun Roux -
for a very long time.
The heat must be incredibly low
at the lowest simmer....
Use the leaves, like of the basil,
but make sure to grind them up.
Use ratio 1:2 and
you will have a very strong roux.
2 parts oil / 1 part spices
The other thing to do (Im sure you already do this!) is to
chant while you make the roux! Visualize the outcome,
of what you want it to taste like. Effect Love.
By the way - you can always add more herb to make it stronger!
